1. The Planning is Half the Fun

The planning was overwhelming and we asked for advice from everyone as we gathered information. Number one - How do you pack at under 50 pounds for 3 weeks? 

Finally, after weeks, we had our itinerary. If we weren't ready, we'd have to wing it. With the help of our Missouri friends, Ron & Pat Welch who are experienced travelers, we chose a 24 day Budget Cosmos Tour called The British Isles in Depth.  Butch and Bev picked us up on May 15, 2013, to take us to the airport at noon and off we went. I posted as I could and we hoped friends were following us on our adventure. Thank you to all who helped. Here is a map of our trip which started and ended in London.
